Remember when I turned into a crazy person and made my own trellis fabric? I am pretty happy with how it turned out. (The farther away you are the better it looks.)
{please excuse my horrible photography skills. It is nearly impossible for me to take a picture of my window and not have it turn out dark.}

I used Jenny’s tutorials to make the pelmet and the roman shade underneath. I trimmed the pelmet with blue ribbon. It makes it look finished and much better. The roman shade is just white. I might add some navy ribbon down the sides.
So there you have it. I made an Imperial Trellis shade using freezer paper, spray paint, white fabric, foam core and duck tape.
Wow Kirsten, that's amazing! It looks fantastic and I can't believe you made the whole thing from scratch, incredible! have a lovely day, Janette x

It's beautiful! I'm sure it looks spectacular up close.
I am so glad I found your site. I am just embarking on a full house redecorating venture and need all the inspiration I can get. After ten years the old lady needs some lipstick, referring to the bungalow of course : ) Love your blog!
