Alden Model Home Entry, Living Room & Command Station

We are excited to share with you another model home we designed for Ivory Homes. We decided to give this home a more traditional feel while still keeping it fresh and, of course, giving it the House of Jade twist. The home itself isn’t big but has a very open floor plan and vaulted ceilings so it feels bigger than it is. Because of the open floor plan we made sure to create distinct and purposeful areas. We love how everything came together and seems to flow from one area of the house to the next.

The home didn’t have a distinct entry space so we found this console and created an entry feel when you walk in. kateosbornephotography-34468

kateosbornephotography-34456We love how the light stained coffee table and oversized feather art add to the space and really make a statement without making it feel too heavy and bulky.kateosbornephotography-34459

kateosbornephotography-34488Off the kitchen is a built in desk area. We love a good command station for the home, especially right near the kitchen. We found an oversized pin board as well to add some color and inspiration. kateosbornephotography-34489

Can you please share the fabric used for the Roman shades?

Looks fantastic- love the unexpected color of the sofa.

Followed the link to the “similar” coffee table on OKL- I liked yours so much better… was it custom made or can you please share where to get it?

      Thanks for the reply.

We actually bought it at DownEast Home if you are local in Utah. 🙂

I can’t wait to see more. It’s nice to see you do such a small space. I love the simple elegance in your design. I’d move in tomorrow. The builder was lucky to get you to design for them. Thank you for all your inspiration. I’ve followed you for so long and you never disappoint. Thank you! Tiffany

I love that color way of the nympheus pillow and not sure that the link above was for that specific color way, could that particular one be ordered through your group?

I am wanting to paint our dining room/living room white. What paint did you use? How do I go about finding the “perfect” white?!
    Thank you!!

It is Sherwin Williams Shoji White 🙂 We would suggest getting a paint sample can and try it out in the space before committing to the entire room/house.

I love how you decorated the living room! Could you tell me how large the coffee table is and the size of the couch? Thanks!

We are sorry we no longer have that information.
