Happenings at House of Jade

Some of you have noticed that we took  little blogging break for the Summer.  It’s been a crazy few months for Erin and I.  My family and I moved into a new house last month so we’ve been busy unpacking and putting our new home together!

I sold my last home pretty much furnished so I’m kinda starting from scratch with this one.  It’s a fun, but daunting, adventure to furnish an entire home.  I’ll be posting lots of updates as soon as I start figuring out what I’m doing in each room!

Erin sold her house a couple of months ago.  She bought an older farmhouse built in 1942 that she is going to add on to and renovate.  It’s going to be an amazing transformation!

She’s been busy selling her home, moving and dreaming about how to turn this small cottage into her dream home!

We have also been working on several new builds.  This year we made a conscious decision to take on more new builds and remodels and less partial projects.  This is exciting for us because it means the projects are bigger but it also means they take a lot longer to complete!

Because our work load has increased we’ve hired on some new employees.

All of the girls at House of Jade are working hard whether it be managing projects, returning emails or scheming up amazing e-designs for our out-of-state clients.

Because we are growing we’ve been on the hunt for the perfect studio space.  We think we have an amazing one in the works so we’ll keep you updated on that!

With moves, babies, hiring new employees and taking on lots of new projects we took a little blogging break for the Summer. We are happy to say we’ll be back to blogging this Fall with lots of updates on projects, our business and our homes.  Thanks for following along!
