photography by Travis J Photography | artwork by Anewall Decor

Today we’ve pulled together a round-up of good quality art that is also affordable.  The concept of affordable art is a little bit tricky because you have to consider the amount of time and the materials used in creating the artwork.  Remember that you are supporting someone in their passion, doing something that brings them true joy as they in turn offer to share that joy with you.  Creating art requires a lot of time and effort, making art an investment.  That being said, good quality affordable artwork is out there, and we’ve found some amazing options for you.

Hotel Magique – Milou Neelen got her start in graphic design in the fashion industry.  Her work is inspired by her professional background as well as her love for hotel nights and paper goods.  Her art is very graphic and available at great prices.  These large prints are sure to make a statement.

Juniper Print Shop – Jenny Komenda of Juniper Studio started her print shop because she believes that art should be available for all.  Jenny and her team did extensive research to find what they believe is the best paper for printing their art, and they can print it in massive sizes without sacrificing the quality of the image.  They also sell digital prints for instant downloads, making it easy and fast to update the art in your space.  Juniper Studio works with various artists to help support the artistic community by selling their work in the shop.  There are many styles to choose from like abstract, city, floral, nature and vintage art.  The quality they offer is amazing and the prices are unbeatable.

Mallery Jane – Mallery Jane is a Utah based artist who draws inspiration from the outdoors, as you can see in her many beautiful prints of mountains and lakes.  Her goal is for her artwork to bring the peace to your space that she experiences while enjoying nature.

Wildfield Paper Co – Annie Mertlich has so much talent, it’s truly incredible.  If you want to be inspired by her even more, she also shares videos on her Instagram account of her painting in real time and they are mesmerizing to watch.  Her work has been featured in The Magnolia Journal.  She also has greeting card designs for sale through Minted.  Check out some of our favorites of her beautiful watercolors.

Emily Jeffords – Emily Jeffords is an abstract impressionist painter who works mostly with oil paint, but she also paints with watercolors as well.  Her goal with her artwork is to bring peace and creativity into her customers’ lives.  How wonderful is that?  Her work has been featured at Anthropologie, Schoolhouse Electric, Minted and West Elm. She offers original paintings as well as prints, and during the holidays, she sells beautiful hand painted ornaments that are sure to be a treasured keepsake.

Parima Studio – Patricia Vargas is the painter behind Parima Studio and her motto is “joyful art for a colorful life.” She’s an abstract painter who works with digital and mixed media on canvas and wood panels.  Each of her pieces are created spontaneously, capturing her feelings, thoughts, and inspiration, making each one unique and full of soul.  She offers original paintings, limited edition prints, open edition prints, animal art prints, and wall murals, all at various price points.  You can also sign up for her newsletter and receive a free desktop and mobile wallpaper, so you can have a bit of Parima Studio with you always.  Her work is also available through Minted.

Max Wanger – Max Wanger has been involved with photography since he was 7 years old, when he made his first camera out of paper and scotch tape.  He has a very minimalist approach to his photos with a less is more mindset, which gives the eyes a place to rest.  Graphic and interesting, his artwork has been featured in exhibits around the world. His art is sold as a print, but he also offers matting and framing for a one stop shopping experience.

Clare Elsaesser – Clare is a California based painter who paints with giclee and is inspired by daydreams, retreats, and nature.  She studied art in high school and at Boston College in the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.  Her paintings are unique and evoke deep emotions.

We hope you enjoyed this round-up!  We have more in the works for you, so stay tuned.  And make sure to tag us on Instagram and show us how you incorporate art in your spaces.
